Terms of Use
Last updated: May 4, 2026
By downloading, installing, or using Last Scroll you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What the app does
Last Scroll lets you nominate a list of apps that distract you and asks Apple’s Family Controls system to apply a system-level shield to those apps for the remainder of the day after 120 minutes of combined use. The app also records your day-by-day streak of staying under the limit and lets you submit it to a public leaderboard.
How the app may be used
- For your own personal device usage management.
- To track and motivate your own progress.
The app may not be used:
- To monitor or restrict the device of another adult.
- In an organizational, employer, school, or institutional setting where you are not the device owner.
- For ad blocking or content filtering not directly tied to your personal productivity goals.
These restrictions reflect both our policy and Apple’s Family Controls framework license.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is” without any warranty. We do not guarantee that the shield will fire at exactly 120 minutes — that is determined by iOS — and we do not guarantee that the leaderboard service will be available at any given time. Use of the app is entirely at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, in no event will the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
Acceptable behavior on the leaderboard
The leaderboard uses an anonymous ID. Attempting to flood the leaderboard, manipulate scores beyond what the app naturally produces, or otherwise abuse the service may result in your anonymous ID being blocked. The score you submit must be the streak the app has computed for you on your device.
Changes
We may change these terms. The “Last updated” date will move forward when we do. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
