1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FlashRead ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FlashRead is a speed reading training application that uses Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP) technology to help users improve their reading speed and comprehension. The App includes:

• Speed reading exercises and training modes
• A library of public domain books
• Daily manifestation/affirmation content
• Progress tracking and statistics
• Customizable reading settings

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose of reading improvement
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
• Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Take breaks as needed - extended use of speed reading technology may cause eye strain

4. Content

4.1 Built-in Content

The App includes public domain books and original manifestation content. This content is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

4.2 User-Imported Content

You may import your own content (via text paste, URL, or file upload). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to read and use any content you import. We do not store or have access to your imported content.

5. Intellectual Property

The FlashRead name, logo, and original content (including manifestation texts) are protected by copyright and trademark laws. The App's design, features, and functionality are proprietary to FlashRead.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

If the App offers premium features through in-app purchases:

• All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
• Prices are displayed in your local currency
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage subscriptions in your device's Settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• That the App will meet your specific requirements
• Specific improvements in reading speed or comprehension
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Results vary by individual. Speed reading is a skill that requires practice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlashRead shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Health Disclaimer

Speed reading exercises involve focused visual activity. If you experience eye strain, headaches, or discomfort:

• Take regular breaks (follow the 20-20-20 rule)
• Adjust font size and speed settings
• Consult an eye care professional if symptoms persist

The manifestation content is for motivational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional mental health advice.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FlashRead operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
